Sometimes I wonder, would Steveless be BETTER or NOT AS GOOD if I tried to make musics properly - spending time writing and developing songs, using numerous takes, utilising myriad effects, getting in proper production.
It doesn't matter, either way, because it wouldn't be as fun so I wouldn't do it. Just thinking, like.

I didn't realise that was you Gary. I'm only just getting back into the musics, and my airwaves very much miss you.
I actually did a little search about online for you a couple of weeks ago (cyber-stalking) to see if you were still involved in the musics.
Now I find a blog that combines music with a bigger love of mine, space, fantastic!
I'm still around, not involved in music really, other than going through all my CDs to see which ones to keep and which to get rid of. A massive task. That and painting skulls.

ReplyDeleteI'm really enjoying making music again. I just couldn't face it for so long. Now, its such fun. I just get the urge, get my mic out, pick what instrument to play and record it. In half an hour have a completed song. Yesterday, on a break from thesis writing I did two songs, in less than half an hour. Very good ones too. And they were silly; I stuck an effect called a bit crusher on them, made me sound like I was in an eighties computer game.
I'm watching those skies more nights than I'm not, I'm with you there. I haven't got the hang of reading blogs yet, but I do want to have a look at yours. Can never read enough on it.
